On 7/20/2018 at approximately 2:56 PM, a hailstorm took place over Cincinnati, OH causing widespread damage from the 1.38″ hailstones.  This damage contributed to property losses, including damage to roof coverings and vehicles.

The Hamilton County, Ohio area was struck by penny sized hail in the afternoon hours. The hail was accompanied by severe weather from thunderstorms and heavy rain, creating a tornado watch that would stay in effect until the late afternoon. The storms produced winds up to 60 mile per hour which drove the hail to severely impact residential dwellings, commercial buildings, and vehicles in the area.
