On 7/23/2018 at approximately 5:54 PM MDT, a severe hail storm took place over Pueblo County, Colorado causing widespread damage from the 1.75″ hailstones.  This damage contributed to property losses, including damage to roof coverings and vehicles.

The Pueblo County area was struck with golf ball sized hail in the evening hours. The hail was accompanied by severe weather from thunderstorms. The storms produced winds up to 80 mile per hour which drove the hail to severely impact residential dwellings, commercial buildings, and vehicles in the area. These extreme winds created a hazard for flying debris, labeling the storm as very dangers by the National Weather Service in Pueblo County, Colorado.
