March 30, 2013 Severe Hail Storms in Norman, OK
The early morning hail storm on March 30, 2013 produced 1″ to 2″ hail, pounding roofs and cars in Norman. The Del Rancho drive-in roof was pummeled with golf ball size hailstones. Windshields were smashed and cars dented at David Stanley Chevrolet. Noble, OK was also hit with hail, with sizes ranging between 1.5″ to 1.75″. KOCO News reported that damage from the hail storm could total millions.
