On Monday, May 4th, 2020 a widespread hailstorm occurred which majorly affected the Springfield, MO area. 22 hail reports were received, noting hail as large as 1.75″ and an average size of 1.34″. The storms also affected other nearby cities such as Kansas City, Missouri and Fayetteville, Arkansas.
