The severe weather on June 3, 2014 included violent thunderstorms, powerful straight-line winds over 58 mph, and large hail throughout the state. Tornados were spotted in Hampton, Greeley, Spaulding and Wolbach. The Grand Island metro area was not hit by hail, but nearby areas were.
