On Friday, July 9th, 2021 a widespread hailstorm occurred which majorly affected the Scottsbluff, NE area. 19 hail reports were received, noting hail as large as 4.25” and an average size of 1.91”. Hail claims have been pouring in because of the storm as property owners have taken note of the damage. There is an estimate of 3,959 properties which have been impacted by 1.5″ hail or larger.

The severe weather on June 3, 2014 included violent thunderstorms, powerful straight-line winds over 58 mph, and large hail throughout the state.
